Requirements

  • Feign Death learned; first recorded spellbook level 30.

Known limitations

  • Research only: not tested in the Forever client. Beta spell names, parser behaviour and requirements may change.
  • English spell names; check your spellbook and actual learned rank. Source IDs identify reference ranks, not a forced rank-1 cast.
  • Range, line of sight, resources, cooldowns and the global cooldown still apply. A macro does not detect readiness or choose your next combat action.
  • Attack/cast cancellation and pet orders occur even if Feign Death is unavailable. Resist, incoming effects or a pet still in combat can defeat an escape.
  • Pet is left Passive. The source warns that remaining feigned for the full six-minute duration kills the Hunter; end it deliberately.
