Progress by class

See the published library, recorded game tests and research still to resolve. An open question may concern an ability or talent; it does not necessarily need a new macro.

  • Enrage — The legacy spellbook talent marker conflicts with the current tree, which has no Enrage node. Do not infer talent ownership; resolve acquisition in client before publishing a macro.
  • Faerie Fire — The current spell record unexpectedly carries a Cat/Bear form requirement on the named baseline family. Resolve form access in client before publishing a universal caster/feral key.

  • Enchanted Flare — Source also lists Flare at the same recorded level with different cooldown. Acquisition/replacement relationship is unresolved.
  • Attack — General-tab source capture has unknown acquisition level and incomplete item/weapon or training requirements. Keep the ordinary action available; no specialised macro or unlock claim is fabricated.
  • Throw — General-tab source capture has unknown acquisition level and incomplete item/weapon or training requirements. Keep the ordinary action available; no specialised macro or unlock claim is fabricated.
  • Beast Training — General-tab source capture has unknown acquisition level and incomplete item/weapon or training requirements. Keep the ordinary action available; no specialised macro or unlock claim is fabricated.

  • Crippling Poison — Source describes a crafting/coating skill. Exact usable item ID and safe weapon-slot application are not established; no /cast poison shortcut.
  • Deadly Poison — Source describes a crafting/coating skill. Item ranks, actual item IDs and safe main/off-hand application need separate evidence.
  • Instant Poison — Do not confuse a poison recipe spell ID with a usable inventory item. Application macro awaits exact item/rank evidence.
  • Mind-numbing Poison — Crafting/coating description does not establish a safe item-use macro or usable item ID; preserve deliberate weapon application.
  • Wound Poison — Source recipe/coating skill requires item/rank and weapon-slot evidence before an application macro can be published.
  • Attack — General-tab source capture has unknown acquisition level and incomplete item/weapon or training requirements. Keep the ordinary action available; no specialised macro or unlock claim is fabricated.

  • Attack — General Attack entry has no sourced spell ID or complete acquisition/equipment metadata. The current Stormstrike macro attempts only the learned ability, without a separate attack-start command or guessed Attack spell. Native attack behavior remains a client-test question.
  • Fire Nova Totem — Source lists this retired name. Current Fire Nova operates around an active Fire totem; do not publish an obsolete cast.
  • Tranquil Air Totem — September 24 notes mention the buff, but the refreshed spellbook inventory has no current name/ID/level entry. Do not infer a cast or icon until acquisition and identifier are sourced.

Dual-purpose keys for every class and spec

Our review covers friendly/hostile spells, paired actions, pet controls and modifier choices. See which combinations suit your role, which actions benefit from their own button, and how to keep targeting predictable.

Read the all-class dual-macro guide

All classes, every talent tree

The beta sources cover 520 named spellbook abilities across 27 talent trees. There are 277 published macros in the library so far. Check each record for its research and test status.

Use normal spellbook buttons for simple actions. Passive talents cannot be cast, poison skills are distinct from inventory items, and uncertain race or pet conditions remain explicit.

Open the ability and talent review on a class page to see why an ability has a macro, works better as a spellbook button, is passive or still needs research. Download all research decisions.

Levels and talents

Plan your character

9 classes and 466 talent choices are mapped to build 1.60.1.70009. The character planner checks your point budget, talent prerequisites and recorded spell levels.

The planner uses research, so check your spellbook before relying on a match. Some spell-learning requirements, early Legacy access and talent changes still need confirmation. Choosing a spec narrows the suggestions; you’ll need to select your actual talents and confirm the spells you’ve learned.
